He's weirdly lawful, most of the time, but he's got that traditional Ander distaste for Orlais.

Peryn's pretty religious, himself. Strong believer in Andrastianism, even if he's not entirely sold on Ander Andrastianism. The royal interpretation is waaaaay too violent, but he knows enough to shut up and roll with it, because he doesn't particularly want to be executed. He thought the south, where Andraste's from, would have stuck a little better to the terms, because it's not a desert blightland, and there's less competition for basic resources, and then he got to Ferelden and found out that southern Templars had long since forgotten their own purpose and the purpose of the Circles. But, he's still convinced that what Andraste wanted for the world is right, even if he's not big on the major interpretations of the Chant.
