Fruitcake

Description

Produces four bread-pan sized loaves. Supposedly. From Bast's family.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon Baking Powder
0.5 teaspoons Nutmeg
2 cups Carrots (shredded)
1 cup Candied Fruit (cherry pineapple blend)
2.66 cups Sugar (granulated)
2.66 cups Water
1 cup Raisins
0.5 teaspoons Cinnamon
0.5 teaspoons Cloves
3 tablespoons Crisco
4 cups Flour
2 cups Walnuts
3 teaspoons Baking Soda

Cooking Instructions

FOR THE RECORD, we're still trying to figure out what this recipe is supposed to be, because we made eight fucking loaves of it, and all of them were inedible (and Thoth likes fruitcake).

- Bring water, sugar, raisins, carrots, & spices to a boil
- Cook for 20min.
- Add 3T Crisco
- Let cool for 1 hour
- Add flour, walnuts, candied fruit, baking powder, baking soda
- Bake at 275 in 4 greased bread/meatloaf pans for 1h
